Licensed Professional Counselor Associate
I am Viola Borden who is a master’s level Professional Counselor. I hold a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor focus in Christian Counseling from Liberty University.
My experience as a Professional Counselor includes working in private practice and community health services in Georgia, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. In addition to my counseling experience, I also possess years of previous management, paraprofessional, group home, residential care, and unit counseling training and experience.
I incorporate skills from treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Reality Therapy, Present Centered Therapy (CPT), and Motivational Interviewing, and other various therapeutic techniques.
In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, writing, and attending live events.
